Weekly Offertory Envelopes

If you have been using weekly envelopes for your offertory donations (Gift Aid and Planned Giving) please collect your new box now.  These are available as you enter the church from the car park except for anyone with a number between 401 and 499.  A number of parishioners are using envelopes in the range 401 to 499 but we don’t know who all of you are! Please provide us with your contact details so that we can allocate a new box number to you. Perhaps complete a Gift Aid Declaration! Your details can be left with the Sacristan after Mass, or send an email to mark@hodsons.net  Thank you to those of you who have already done this.

If you contribute by standing order arrangement please collect a letter after Mass from the Sacristan.  This contains a set of special envelopes to help you plan for second collections.  Any letters not collected will be posted out.

We are always looking for new members to join our Planned Giving and Gift Aid schemes so please make yourself known to us and we will then provide you with a box of envelopes which can be used for your offertory and second collection donations.

Planned Giving is about giving a realistic amount regularly to one’s church. It demonstrates an acceptance that as adult Catholics we are responsible for supporting and maintaining our parish.

Gift Aid is about reclaiming tax on your donation and therefore applies to taxpayers. For example: a £10 donation becomes £12.50. Please note it is your responsibility to make sure you have paid enough tax to qualify!

These schemes are confidential and your personal details and regular contributions are only seen by the Parish Gift Aid/Planned Giving organiser.

Easter Flowers Collection

This collection qualifies for Gift Aid. Therefore, if you are a member of the Gift Aid Scheme please use one of your special envelopes.
